The cottages were clean and neat, and the staff was helpful, but there were some issues with room arrangements and cleanliness. The location is excellent for beach access, but there were some cleanliness concerns in certain areas. The dining experience was somewhat lacking, and there were inconsistencies with restaurant service. Overall, a decent stay with some areas needing improvement.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The location is amazing, just a short walk through the dunes to the beach and on the road to Cape Recife. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the flooring needs some attention as my feet were pitch black after walking barefoot over the carpeting. The service was friendly and helpful, especially shout out to Zikhona & the lady with the braids who went out of their way to assist us. The dining experience was nice, even though breakfast was a bit of a nightmare with empty trays. The facilities were great overall, and I enjoyed my time at the hotel.

The hotel has a great location near the beach and is close to Cape Recife. The rooms, however, had a strong smell of cigarette smoke and could get humid and musty, especially with monkeys around. The service was top-notch, with the housekeeping staff being very helpful and the manager going the extra mile. The location is a mixed bag with easy beach access but occasional gusty winds. Dining had some issues with breakfast not being ready early, but the fresh salmon was a highlight. The facilities were decent overall.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the location was fantastic, near the Point Recife Nature Reserve and close to amazing activities like the incredible restaurant Ziggys, there were some issues with the rooms and dining options that affected my overall stay.

Rooms
6.0
Although the rooms need a serious upgrade on furniture, I appreciated the ample space for two cars and the lovely camping or bungalows vibe. However, making my own arrangements for towels and bed sheets was inconvenient, especially arriving late with no housekeeping available.
Service

The staff, particularly the one with short blonde hair, responded well to issues like our faulty oven. The Pine Lodge has truly friendly and helpful staff who even arranged fun activities for the kids, making the stay enjoyable.
Location

Dining

The dining experience had its drawbacks with the service not ready by 7:40am and limited grilled dishes, impacting the breakfast routine.
Facilities

The facilities in certain areas were well-maintained, providing a comfortable ambiance. However, the lack of readiness for basic services like dining and housekeeping left room for improvement.

My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and fairly comfortable, and the hotel is close to amenities. However, the rooms seemed a bit untidy, and the staff could be more attentive. The service was friendly and good, but there was some concern about responsiveness. The location was very beautiful and serene, right by the seafront, which was perfect for me. Unfortunately, the dining experience was a separate cost and not fully ready at specified times. The facilities were of decent quality.
